On Wednesday March 25, 2009 at 2:50 PM officers responded to an accident involving a school bus at Wilson and Spruce. A vehicle traveling south on Wilson Street failed to stop for a stop sign and was struck by the bus traveling east on Spruce Street. There were students on the bus at the time of the crash.

One student and the driver of the bus were taken to the hospital for what appears to be minor injuries.

The driver of vehicle was issued a summons for failing to stop for the stop sign.
