On 04-24-09 at 6:32 PM, Manchester Police Officers responded to 109 Eastern Ave A-307 for a domestic disturbance. A female was out on her porch yelling for assistance. When officers arrived, Toi Gardner, age 27, reported that her boyfriend, Davon Fickling DOB 11-20-86, had left the apartment with a knife and some of her belongings.

She reported that they had an argument, which became physical. During the argument he grabbed her by the throat, threatened to harm her, and later held her down on the bed preventing her form moving. When he released her she locked herself in another room, until he damaged the door by kicking and hitting it. She went into the kitchen where she grabbed a knife and then he struggled with her to get the knife away. He threatened her again and she was able to go onto the porch and yell for neighbors to help her.

Officer Kreamer and Officer Day located Davon Fickling hiding in a dumpster in the apartment complex. They also found the items that he had taken from Ms. Gardner’s apartment. Mr. Fickling was arrested and charged with numerous domestic related charges including False Imprisonment, Criminal Threatening (Two counts), Simple Assault, Criminal Mischief, Stalking, and Theft by Unauthorized Taking. Records show Mr. Fickling was currently out on Bail with conditions from Manchester District Court not to have any contact with Ms. Gardner or to be at her address. He was also charged with Violation of Bail conditions and he is currently being held at Valley St. Jail pending a Court Hearing
