PUBLIC INFORMATION NOTICE
The City of Manchester Overnight Winter Parking Ordinance (odd/even) goes into effect at 1:00 am on December 1st and will run through April 15th. Property owners, please inform your tenants of this ordinance. Where parking is normally allowed on a street, the Ordinance permits vehicles to be parked only on the odd numbered side of a street on odd numbered calendar days, and only on the even numbered side of a street on even numbered calendar days from 1:00am to 6:00am. This means that when you park your car on the evening of December 1st, it should be parked on the even side of the street, because it will be an even day (2nd) at 1:00 am. NO overnight parking will be permitted on the circular portion of cul-de-sacs! Please note that this Ordinance does not apply to streets where parking is allowed only on one side.

SNOW EMERGENCY PARKING
All vehicles must be removed immediately from City streets upon the declaration of a Snow Emergency. Look for the blinking strobe lights placed at various intersections throughout the city, listen to local radio or TV stations, or call the Highway Department (624-6444) with any questions. Any vehicle parked in violation of a Snow Emergency Declaration will be removed and impounded. Towed vehicles will be placed in the lot adjacent to the Bridge St. entrance to Derryfield Park. In order to recover an impounded vehicle, the owner is required to present poof of ownership and to make payment of $110 in cash, certified check or money order payable to the “City of Manchester”. Vehicles not recovered within 24 hours will be subject to additional storage fees of $30 per day.
Snow Emergency parking is available at the Victory Parking Garage at 25 Vine Street between 10pm and 7am. Vehicles entering before 10pm or leaving after 7pm WILL be subject to parking fees of $.75 per hour. The Pearl Street parking lot on Orange St between Pearl and Chestnut is also available between 6pm and 7am. Unauthorized vehicles in the lot outside of these times WILL be subject to parking tickets.
