Road Work Scheduled in the Roycraft Rd Neighborhood.

Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will begin paving work on the following streets:

  1. Edna St — Valentine Dr to Claire St
  2. Leo St — Edna St to Huse Rd
  3. Valentine Dr — Edna St to Huse Rd
  4. Lebel Ave — Valentine Dr to Roycraft Rd
  5. Roycraft Rd — Lebel Ave to Huse Rd
  6. Sears Dr — Roycraft Rd to Karin St
  7. Parenteau St — Sears Dr to Keystone Rd
  8. Chartrand St — Sears Dr to Keystone Rd
  9. Keystone Rd — Roycraft Rd to Dead End
  10.  Karin St - Huse Rd to Sears Dr

The work will begin on Monday, June 1, 2026, and is anticipated to last approximately eight (+/- 8 )weeks, with completion expected by the end of July.

Parking on the street will be limited during work hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists are advised to follow all posted detour signs and seek alternate routes whenever possible. 

Residents should plan accordingly and expect potential delays, as well as limited access to properties during construction hours. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and maintain access whenever possible.

Paving work on Day St & Bridget Ln has begun.

Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), has begun paving work on Day Street (from Hooksett Rd. to Blevens Dr.) and Bridget Lane (from Day St. to Barrett St.), starting May 26, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This roadway reconstruction project is expected to last approximately four (± 4) weeks.

Residents and motorists are kindly asked to plan accordingly, avoid the construction zone when possible, and use alternate routes. Detour routes will be clearly posted to help guide traffic during the construction period.

While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, please be advised that there may be temporary delays and limited access to properties within the project area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the community’s infrastructure.

Roadwork Advisory: Queen City Ave & Cilley Rd – Wednesday, July 23rd

Roadwork Advisory: Queen City Ave & Cilley Rd – Wednesday, July 23rd

RH White's subcontractor, Liberty Gas, will continue gas line work on Queen City Avenue on Wednesday, July 23rd, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As part of this project:

Cilley Road will be closed to through traffic between Beech Street and South Willow Street.

Queen City Avenue will be restricted to a single westbound lane between South Willow Street and the project area. Access will be limited to southbound traffic only from South Willow Street.

Important Notes:

All work is weather-dependent and schedules may change without notice.

On-street parking is prohibited on the affected roads during work hours. Violators will be towed.

Detours will be clearly marked. 

Property access may be temporarily delayed. Residents and motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.

Public Notice - PROPOSED ACTION MEETING


The Derryfield School Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Project
State Project Number: 42886, Federal Project Number: X-A004(986)


The public is invited to attend a Proposed Action Meeting for the Derryfield School CMAQ Project
on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Derryfield School’s Gateway Building, located at
2226 River Road, Manchester, NH. The City’s consultant, CMA Engineers, will present information
on the proposed project. This project will include improvements to the intersection of River Road with
the Derryfield School’s north entrance and Bicentennial Drive.
The intent of the meeting is to present the alternatives considered for the intersection and the proposed
action that will move forward into design development and construction.
