The New Hampshire Institute for Local Public Health Practice at the Manchester Health Department is pleased to announce the FREE course offering entitled "Core Public Health Concepts.” The course will be held from Thursday, April 7, 2011 through Thursday, May 26, 2011 (class meets every Thursday for 8 weeks) from 9:00am-12:00pm at the Manchester Health Department. All course materials are provided free of charge to course participants.
This course provides an introduction to public health concepts and practice by examining the philosophy, purpose, history, organization, functions, tools, activities and results of public health practice at the national, state and community levels. The course also addresses important health issues and problems facing the public health system. All course materials are provided free of charge to course participants.
