The Manchester Arts Commission - "MAC" - was created in 1937, and is dedicated to promoting art of all forms within the City of Manchester. Our mission is fulfilled in part by the coordination and maintenance of the Art on the Wall @ City Hall Gallery, Open Doors Manchester Art and Cultural Trolley Tour, and the McIninch Art Gallery (located on the Southern New Hampshire University campus).

The Commission submits an Arts and Culture Plan to the Economic Development Office and Planning Board on a regular basis, helping to ensure that public works may possess beauty in the highest practicable degree.
