In 2011, MAC participated in a short term public art installation, the Inside/Out Project, to support TEDxAmoskeagMillyard.
JR, winner of a previous TEDx prize, invited communities around the world to join in his vision of large format, black and white photographs of faces pasted on buildings in unexpected places. Manchester volunteers from SNHU and City Year took photographs of friends, neighbors, and visitors to PeopleFest and pasted or hung 3'x4' photographs on and inside area businesses. Weather, vandalism, and time caused the pictures to disintegrate, keeping with JR's vision of textured faces of disparate communities smiling from unexpected places.
