Jimmy Muniz 27 of Manchester took off from officers in the alley behind 223 Green Street. Officer Dan Nolan and Sergeant Sean Leighton became suspicious when the car Miniz was driving attempted to make a U turn in the alley. When the officers attempted to speak to Muniz there was an odor of alcohol coming from the car and the rear bumper was hanging down and scraping the ground.

Former Elliot Hospital Employee Arrested for Felony Theft

On Saturday Dec. 6th, at approx. 5:20pm, the Manchester Police Dept. responded to a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Conant St and West St. Initial information indicates that a Kubir Lal Adhikari 63yrs old, of 146 Walker St, was pushing his grandson Maushm Adihakari 5yrs old, of 6 Notre Dame Ave apt. 3, on a small push toy northerly across Conant St when they were both struck by a westbound vehicle. The vehicle driver was identified as Joshua Bouchard 19yrs of age, of 153 Whipple St. The grandfather was transported to the Catholic Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, while Kubir Adhikari was transported to the Elliot Hospital and then Mass General Hospital with a serious head injury. Bouchard was not injured in this crash. Investigators, from the Manchester Police Dept. Traffic Unit, are investigating this crash. At this point speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
