South Willow St  between March Ave and Gabrielle St has been temporarily closed in both directions due to a fire at the Yee Dynasty. The road should reopen this afternoon.

On August 27, 2008 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Manchester Police Department executed search warrants and arrested two subjects, concluding a 4 month long investigation into the illegal sale and distribution of drugs within the City of Manchester. The Manchester Police Department's Special Investigations Unit spearheaded the investigation and along with the Manchester Police Department's S.W.A.T. team and Street Crime Unit, executed the search warrants and arrested two individuals. Those arrested are identified as Alnardo Suarez DOB 06/13/1984 of 1532 Candia Rd. Unit B, Manchester, N.H. Suarez is charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute. Also arrested was Jennifer Chambers DOB 08/04/1981 of 1532 Candia Rd. Unit B, Manchester, N.H. Chambers is charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug. This week's Crimeline Crime of the Week is a Burgalry that was reported to Manchester Police on Monday, August 25, 2008.

On that date at approximately 12:30 a.m. officers responded to an audible burglar alarm at Season’s Tickets sports bar at 554 Front St. On arrival officers discovered that someone had pried open the door to the rear of the business. The door was metal and was bent to the point that it was deformed. The frame was splintered from excessive force. Officers checked the building with the owner and determined that nothing inside appeared to be missing.

There is no suspect information at this time.

08-27-08 Manchester Police responded to two burglaries during the overnight hours. The first was reported by a neighbor at Empire Foods located at 420 Belmont St. at approx. 5:15 a.m. The second burglary was reported at 6:15 a.m. at Willie B's located at 90 Union St. Both of these burglaries are currently being investigated by Manchester Police Detectives. Any connection between these incidents is unknown. There is no suspect info. at this time.

On 08-25-08 at about 2:35 AM, Manchester Police responded to the Seven Eleven on Webster St for a reported domestic dispute. On arrival, they met with a woman who reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her and threatened her with a knife at a nearby address.  The woman had bruising on her chest and loose clumps of hair on her head. 
 
According to the victim, she and her boyfriend were involved in a heated dispute when he began to assault her, dragging her by the hair and punching her. He also reportedly retrieved a knife, holding it to her throat and threatening to kill her. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of her

On 08-25-08 at about 3:00 AM, Manchester Police responded tom an alarm at Seasons Tickets Sports Pub at 554 Front St. On arrival, they discovered that a rear door had been pried for entry. An employee responded to the business and it appears nothing was taken.

On 08-24-08 at about 11:30 PM, a woman arrived at Manchester Police headquarters with her infant child. Both the woman and baby were covered in tiny shards of glass but were not injured. According to the woman, she had been involved in an argument with her estranged boyfriend at his residence. During the course of the argument, she decided to leave and got into her vehicle with her baby.
