Man who severed his own finger during knife attack is identified

Miguel Ramirez (29) has been identified has the attacker at WR Taverna, in which three people were injured. He is currently wanted by Manchester Police for several offenses.

Manchester Police detectives have identified the person responsible for the May 22, 2010 early morning knife attack at WR Taverna as:

 Miguel Angel Ramirez (29)

Miguel Ramirez (29), formerly of 135 Spruce Street, Manchester NH is wanted in connection with an incident in which it is alleged he struck one person over the head with a beer bottle, before stabbing a friend, slashing a third person and then accidentally severing his own finger. An arrest warrant has been issued for Ramirez’s arrest. He is currently wanted for two counts 2nd Degree Assault and one count 1st Degree Assault. Anyone with information of Ramirez’s whereabouts should contact the Manchester Police Department at 668-8711. Anonymous tips can also be made through Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040. The public is cautioned to not approach this subject as he is considered by police to be armed and, given his alleged actions, extremely dangerous.
