Man Injured In Motorcyle Crash

On 5/22/10 at approximately 1415 hours, the Manchester Police along with Manchester Fire Dept. and Rockingham Ambulance responded to a two vehicle crash involving serious personal injury. The crash occurred at the intersection of Pine Street and Webster Street. The crash involved a 2005 Acura MDX SUV being operated by Olga Belotta-Coronatta age 50 of Manchester, NH and a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R100 motorcycle being operated by Walter Farrington age 27 of Merrimack, NH. The initial investigation indicates that the Acura being operated by Belotta-Coronatta was north on Pine St and was making a left onto Webster Street, when the motorcycle, which was east on Webster St and driven by Farrington collided with the driver side front door of the Acura. The collision resulted in serious injury to Farrington who was the rider and sole occupant of the motorcycle. The driver of the Acura, Belotta-Coronatta and her two passengers were uninjured. Farrington was transported to the Elliot Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The intersection where the crash occurred is controlled by traffic lights. At this time no charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Division.
