Unsolved Homicides
Manchester Crimeline will pay $2000.00 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of any person that committed any of these unsolved homicides.
November 24, 1974, at 3:00am
Police were called to Hermit Road in regards to a shooting victim. Upon arrival, they found a male subject gunned down while he was seated inside his car with a young girl. The male victim was idenitifed as David Longfellow, age 17. An extensive investigation was conducted into this death.

March 9, 1988, at 8:00am
Police discovered on the morning of March 9th the body of Robert "Flippy" Heckbert, age 30, floating face down in the Merrimack River in Manchester. An autopsy revealed that the victim died from a combination of a severe beating to the head and drowning. An extensive investigation was conducted into this incident.

July 20, 1990, at 2:04am
Police were called to 540 Maple St. in regards to a shooting victim. Upon arrival, they found a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The male victim identified as John Ramsey, age 34, was transported to a local hospital where he died from his wound. An extensive investigation was conducted into this death.

October 7, 1990
Police detectives were called to a local hospital regarding a victim of an assault who was in a coma. The victim was identified as Christopher Kaldaras, age 30. Detectives learned that Kaldaras had suffered serious trauma to the head. Kaldaras died as a result of his injuries. During the investigation conducted into the incident, detectives learned that Kaldaras had been assaulted in the area of Spruce and Union Sts. a day or two prior to being admitted to the hospital. An extensive investigation into the incident failed to identify a suspect.

May 20, 1991, at 11:26am
Police were called to respond to 700 Elm St. the Center of NH parking garage, for a report of a female being stabbed. Upon arrival, police found Rita Roy, age 69, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Roy was transported to a local hospital were she died as a result of her injuries. An extensive investigation, spanning several months was conducted into this incident in an attempt to learn the identity of the assailant.

November 15, 1991, at 1:22am
Police were sent to 321 Lincoln St. City Limits lounge for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police found Domingo Chavez, age 30, suffering from a laceration to the neck. Chavez was transported by ambulance to a local hospital were he died from his injury. An extensive investigation was conducted into this incident, to include the interview of several witnesses at the scene.

February 26, 1993, at 10:45pm
Police were called to the rear of the Lafayette Club on Canal St. for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, police found the victim, Deithelm Baumann, age 30, suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. Baumann died immediately from the wound he received. An extensive investigation spanning several months was conducted into this incident. Police have identified the assailant from a description provided by a female companion of the victim, as being a white male, with a moustache and dark hair, last seen driving a pick up truck.

December 14, 1995, at 3:12pm
Police, and fire units were dispatched to 123 Walnut Hill Ave. regarding a building fire. Once the fire was brought under control, the body of Walter Page, age 76, was found in the cellar/office area of the home. Examination of Page showed that he had suffered multiple stab wounds. An extensive investigation, spanning several months was conducted into this incident.

Police responded to a call of a shooting that had just occurred in the south side parking lot of 241 Pine St. Upon arrival, police found Lorenc Marku, age 36, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses at the scene only described the assailants as being 2 males wearing hoods. It was also learned that a white 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass was possible used as a get away vehicle. This vehicle was later recovered in Warwick, RI. An extensive investigation that spanned several months, including several trips to New York city was undertaken in an attempt to locate and identify the suspects.

November 30, 1998
Police were called to a building fire at 220 Pine Street. The second and third story porches were entirely engulfed in flames. A deceased victim of the fire was found on the third floor of the building. The victim was identified as Allen A. Pineau, age 46 of 199 Manchester Street. An extensive investigation has been initiated into this incident.
