Officer Tony Battistelli
Officer Battistelli has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1999. Prior to his assignment to the Community Policing Division in 2007, he was assigned to the Patrol Division. Much of that time in Patrol he worked his neighborhood on mountain bike. Before joining the Department, Officer Battistelli patrolled New Hampshire’s coastline as a member of the NH Marine Patrol. Tony served in the Marine Corps before entering law enforcement.

Officer Matt Jajuga
Officer Jajuga has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2007. Matt served in the Patrol Division before joining Community Policing in 2009. Officer Jajuga is a graduate of UMASS Lowell University where he received both his Bachelor and Masters degrees. Officer Jajuga graduated from the 143rd NH Police Academy, where he received awards for Outstanding Achievement and Academic Excellence. Officer Jajuga is a past recipient of the Officer of the Month Award (July 2009)

Officer Marc Lachance
Officer Marc Lachance has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1996, having previously worked as a police officer with the Concord New Hampshire Police Department. He currently serves within his area of operation as a mounted patrol officer and member of the MPD Mounted Unit. Officer Lachance trained as a mounted officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Ottawa, Ontario. Prior to his Community Policing assignment, Officer Lachance worked as a K-9 handler for seven years. Officer Scott Tardiff
Officer Tardiff has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1999, having previously worked as a police officer for five years with the Auburn Police Department. Scott had served four years in the Army prior to beginning his law enforcement career. He currently serves within his area of operation as mounted patrol officer and member of the MPD Mounted Unit. Officer Tardiff trained as mounted officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Ottawa, Ontario. Scott is a certified Field Training Officer. Officer Steve Maloney
Officer Maloney has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1991. Prior to his assignment in the Community Policing Division, Steve served in the Patrol Division and the Juvenile Investigative Unit. Officer Maloney attended Fitchburg State University. He is a State certified Field Training Officer and Co-Director of the Citizens Police Academy. Officer Maloney is the present Vice-President of the Manchester Police Patrolmen’s Association.

Officer Nate Linstad
Officer Linstad has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2001. He is a graduate of UMASS Lowell majoring in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. Prior to being assigned to the Community Policing Division in 2007, Nate worked primarily as a mountain bike officer in the Patrol Division. Officer Linstad has been involved with the Valley Street Cemetery restoration effort and is a member of SWAT.

Officer Fred Gillis
Officer Gillis has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2005. The Massachusetts native attended the University of New Hampshire where he majored in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. Prior to joining the Community Policing Division, Fred was assigned to the Patrol Division and spent the majority of his time as a mountain bike officer. Fred is a certified Field Training Officer, and member on the Manchester SWAT Team.

Officer Chris Goodnow
Officer Goodnow has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1997. Prior to his present Community Policing Division assignment, he worked in the Patrol Division as a patrol officer and canine handler. Chris is a nationally certified canine trainer and is currently a department trainer for the MPD Canine Unit. He is also State certified Field Training Officer and Police Motorcycle Operator.

Officer Ed Devereaux
Officer Devereaux has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2000. Ed had been assigned to the Patrol Division before joining Community Policing. He has also been assigned to the Street Crime Unit. Ed is a State certified Field Training Officer and graduate of Suffolk University. Prior to joining the Manchester Police Department, Officer Devereaux gained eight years of experience as a Correction Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections. He is a Marine Corps veteran and served in Operation Desert Storm.

Officer Chris Sanders
Officer Christopher Sanders has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2001. Officer Sanders is a Massachusetts native and graduate of Bridgewater State College. During his tenure with the Manchester Police Department he has had several diverse assignments including patrol operations, mountain bike unit, and detective with the C.H.A.S.E. Unit assigned to investigate child physical and sexual abuse allegations. Officer Sanders has been a member of the Manchester Police Department S.W.A.T Team since 2003 where he presently serves on the Sniper Unit.

Officer Richard Ell has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1993. He attended the University of Maryland and has served in the United States Air Force. Rich has also been assigned to the Patrol Division and Special Investigations Unit. He is currently the Manchester Police Athletic League Coordinator and member of the MPAL Board of Directors. Officer Ell is a MPAL judo and boxing coach and is responsible for managing the MPAL/Michael Briggs Community Center. The Manchester Police Athletic League offers a number of supervised healthy afterschool activities. Boxing, Judo, Aikido, Rugby and Lacrosse are MPAL’s most popular programs. Officer Mark Ampuja
Officer Mark Ampuja has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 1998. Mark is assigned to a center city area known as the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategic Area. His responsibilities include senior services and co-director of the Citizens Police Academy. He serves on the National Night Out Planning Committee, Weed and Seed Anti-Crime Strategy Steering Committee, Safe Routes to School Program, and the Elders Wrap and Seniors Count Committees.

Officer Paul Rondeau
Officer Rondeau has been serving with the Manchester Police Department since 2000. He is currently assigned to the Community Policing Division and serves as the Crime Prevention Officer. In this role he performs many tasks which are primarily focused on educating the public regarding all aspects of safety and security. Paul routinely conducts home and business security surveys, various types of safety seminars, and serves as School Programs Officer. Additionally he is the police liaison for Manchester Crimeline, board member with the NH Council on Autism, and Certified Defensive Driving Instructor for NH Police Standards and Training Council.
