Manchester is and always has been a hockey town. The Manchester Monarchs began back in 2001 when the Verizon Wireless Arena opened its doors. They are affiliated with the LA Kings and have been drawing crowds from all over. Long before the Monarchs there was Manchester Regional Youth Hockey Association (MYRHA). MYRHA, a non-profit organization, established in 1965, is dedicated to providing youth hockey opportunities. MRYHA’s goal is to provide cost effective opportunities for area youth to compete at all levels of youth hockey.

Public skating, skate rentals, stick & puck, private rentals, and snack bar can be found at
John F. Kennedy Memorial Coliseum and
West Side Ice Arena. There are adults leagues and ice time available for rent and the West Side Ice Arena.
