The Planning and Community Development Department works on a number of long-range planning and special projects.
Examples of long-range planning include the City’s Master Plan and the Arena Area Planning Study.
Special Projects include a variety of community development, project development and planning activities. Included among these are: management of the Enterprise Community program, staff support to the Central Business Service District, Cultural & Scenic Byways Program and assistance to various organizations in developing new community development initiatives.
