A variety of programs are offered by the Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Department to benefit residents of all ages.
Project Greenstreets, run by the Parks Department's Urban Forester, involves a comprehensive tree planting and maintenance program in the right of ways, within city parks, and at other municipal properties.
The Summer Fun Run is actually a variety of outdoor physical activities open to all ages.
Programs specifically devoted to Youth include Fun In The Sun, Saturday Junior Basketball, and Hershey Track Meet; all run by the Recreation Supervisor. Volunteers run a variety of Youth Sports in the City Parks.
Summer Fun Runs and Walk For Your Health are Adult Programs.
