Clem Lemire Sports Complex

The phase-I project of the Clem Lemire Sports Complex at Memorial High School is nearing completion. A new multi-sport synthetic field, 400-meter running track, sports lighting, parking and site improvements were recently finished. Additional work through the fall will include construction of (3) buildings for Storage, Team Rooms and Concession-Restrooms. These support facilities are scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2004. The facility is adjacent to Memorial High School at the intersections of Weston Road and South Jewett Street.
Brown-Mitchell Park

Mayor Baines and other City officials dedicated the new playground and a ballfield at Brown-Mitchell park on October 8, 2004. The playground was dedicated in honor of Robert J. Pariseau for his 7 terms of service and the ballfield was dedicated in honor of Peter Burkush for his 9 terms of service, each representing Ward 9 for a combined 32-years of service on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
