Veterans Park Tensile Structure and Stage (400x150)

Veterans Park (aka Merrimack Common)


Located on Elm Street, and bounded by Merrimack and Central Streets, the 4.0 acre facility is one block north of the Verizon Wireless Arena, and adjacent to Hillsborough County Superior Court.


Directions:

Route 293 North to Granite Street Bridge Exit (exit #5 )right at the end of the ramp onto Granite Street. Cross Granite Street Bridge, then left at 3rd traffic light (Elm Street, at Verizon Wireless Arena). Park is one block north.


Amenities:

The JB Batalis public restrooms are open during various downtown events. The Park also sports a large covered stage from spring into early fall.


Requests for Use:

Requests to use Veterans Park must be addressed to Director of Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Dept, 625 Mammoth Road, Manchester, NH 03104. All requests must be in writing and signed by requestor, indicating dates and times, purpose of request, group(s) involved, list of any music to be performed (including lyrics), description of activities to take place, and name of contact person. Requests involving use of restrooms will be charged at a rate of $30 per hour, payable in advance once approval has been granted.
