Thanks to a grant from the Samuel P. Hunt Foundation, Wi-Fi is now available at the West Manchester Community Library. Wi-Fi allows you to access the Internet for free with a laptop or similar wireless device. Find out all about it at the Library!

Auto Repair Reference Center - New Database at the West Community Library
|
 Is you car or truck in need of repair? The Library has a new database you can use to find maintenance and repair information. The Auto Repair Reference Center covers the complete automotive repair manuals that were originally published in the Chilton Total Car Care Series. This database includes data on most manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles back to 1954, with some vintage models back to 1945. All you need to do to access this database from home is login to the Auto Repair Reference Center with your library card number. The Auto Repair Reference Center is also available inside the Library.
If you need help accessing the Library’s , please call 624-6560 or email the reference desk at mclrefdesk@ManchesterNH.gov. The Auto Repair Database includes:
- Repair information on approximately 26,000 vehicles – both domestic and imported
- Over 100,000 factory drawings and step-by-step photographs
- Over 60k,000 technical service bulletins and recall announcements
- Specifications and maintenance schedules
- Quick Tips –a complete guide to vehicle ownership and maintenance.
Copies can be made from the Auto Repair Database – it’s 15 cents a page at the Library.

New magazines in the teen section
|
We have some new magazines in the Teen Section. Look for Dirt Bike, Electronic Gaming Monthly, GamePro, Mad, Rolling Stone, Seventeen, Shojo Beat, Skateboarding and Teen Vogue. Magazines can be taken out for two weeks, except for the latest issue which must stay in the Library until the next issue arrives. A total of 10 magazines may be taken out, but only 6 of one title.
