A license to drive a taxicab in Manchester requires a completed application, obtained from the Office of the City Clerk. Applications must be submitted with a current copy of your criminal and motor vehicle records and certified by the New Hampshire Department of Safety or the appropriate out-of-state agencies if the applicant has been a resident of any other state in the past five years.
Applications require two recent passport photographs, a valid New Hampshire driver's license, and an $80.00 application fee. An application is generally processed in the same day it is received but may take up to one week before a license can be issued. All taxicab driver licenses expire each year on April 30.
