Top Deck Details - 1 & 2 Family Residential Structures When applying for a permit to build, repair or replace decks and/or porches, construction information will need to be provided (ie. type of material being used). Please contact the Building Department for additional information. Top Electrical Permit Application Electrical Permit Applications can now be filled out online however they must be printed, signed and submitted to the Building Department by mail. We are not currently accepting applications electronically. (Please note, any fees calculated are subject to change upon review of the application.) When submitting an application, please note that all multi-family dwellings, non owner-occupied single family dwellings and commercial projects require a licensed NH Master electrician. In addition, please provide a brief description of the work to be performed as well as an estimate of the cost. Upon review, approval and payment of the application an approved permit will be mailed. No applications will be processed which do not contain the required information. No work should be commenced prior to receipt of an approved permit. Top Elevator/Amusement Permit Application Elevator/Amusement Permit Applications can now be filled out online however they must be printed, signed and submitted to the Building Department by mail. We have attached a sample plan for reference purposes. Any and all structures you have on your lot must be shown on this plan and the plan must be drawn to scale with all setback information noted. Top Rental Properties - Certificate of Compliance Application An Application for Certificate of Compliance is required for any new, vacant or previously owner-occupied residential rental properties which are to be rented, offered for rent or otherwise occupied. This Application may be submitted along with fees to the Building Department. An inspector will contact the owner to schedule an initial inspection. Top Rental Properties - Transfer of Ownership Form Transfer of Ownership forms are required for all residential rental properties with a valid (unexpired) Certificate of Compliance. This allows the Certificate to be assigned to the new owner. This form should be submitted to the Building Department along with a check in the amount of $35.00 payable to the City of Manchester. Top Sign Permit Application Sign Permit Applications can now be filled out online however they must be printed, signed and submitted to the Building Department by mail. We are not currently accepting applications electronically. Please note, any fees calculated are subject to change upon review of the application. When submitting an application for Sign Permit, a sign inventory must be included, as indicated on the application. For more information, please contact our office. Top Yard Sale Permit Application Yard Sale Permits can be filled out online, printed and submitted to our office along with a check in the amount of $5.00 made payable to the City of Manchester.
