Main Branch Auditorium Summary: Join Rick Cornell VP of Community Relations at the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester for a look at the history of mental health in Manchester. Part of the One-Book-One-Manchester series Rick will examine the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental disorders during the 1960's and how it shaped the projects where Gloria Norris grew up. From the 1960's to today Cornell will touch on some of the most misunderstood disorders and how left untreated they can cause tremendous damage to those that suffer from them and the people around them.
